This concert will feature the first movement from Beethoven’s 5th Symphony, as well as the rousing finale from Shostakovich’s 5th Symphony. You will recognize the beautiful opening chorale from the Finale of Mendelssohn’s 5th Symphony. The concert will also include movie music from Star Wars, and Dave Brubeck’s famous jazz piece, “Take Five”.
Performances will take place on Saturday, May 3rd, 3:00 PM at Monomoy Regional High School, 75 Oak Street, Harwich, and Sunday May 4th, 3:00 PM at Dennis-Yarmouth Intermediate School, 286 Station Avenue, So Yarmouth. Admission is FREE. Donations are welcome.
