The Open Door House is a 501(c)3 organization located in Concord, NC whose mission is to provide a path of hope for young adults aging out of foster care to reach their God-given potential. Every year in NC more than 500 foster youth turn 18 and are considered too old or, aged-out, of the system. Without a supportive family or system in place 1:5 will become instantly homeless. The Open Door House is working closely with the local community to change the negative statistics plaguing this population. This event is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young adults aging out of foster care. With every clink of a glass, we raise not only a toast but also hope for a brighter future. We invite you to join us on May 3rd for an amazing evening of delicious food and drink, lovely new friends, live music, and much more all set in a beautiful working farm. We can’t wait to meet you!
