The current playground equipment at our Movrich Memorial Park is no longer safe for the kids to play on and has been deemed unrepairable. Therefore, it will be taken down shortly. The park is enjoyed by our residents, surrounding towns, and our many tourists that visit northern Wisconsin. We want them to continue to enjoy our park safely in the years to come.
As with many small towns in Wisconsin, Fifield is at the limit with taxpayers funding and the tax burden on our citizens. Therefore, the Fifield Playground Equipment Committee is raising money to replace the playground equipment at our Movrich Memorial Park.
We are reaching out to you as a business and as a neighbor with a personal stake in seeing our community prosper, grow and be enjoyed. Would you consider donating whatever amount you are comfortable with, to get us one step closer to our fundraising goal of $50,000? Any business or individual with a donation of more than $500 will have their name inscribed on a plaque to be displayed at the park. In addition to soliciting donations, we are also selling raffle tickets for $5.00 each or 5 for $20 with a first prize of $500, second place $250, and third place of $100. The drawing is to be held at the Fifield Community Picnic on July 5, 2025
