The perfect place to pick up unique Christmas gifts, find everything from vintage clothes and homeware, one-off jewellery pieces, plants, ceramics, sweet treats and seasonal goodies, plus a pop-up record shop from Cigarette Records.

A jam-packed schedule of FREE facepainting, kids activities and workshops will be happening throughout the day, alongside live music and vinyl DJ sets!

The Big Market is renowned for hosting amazing markets in support of small, independent businesses while Riverside East provides the perfect festive setting. Surrounded by fir trees with festive films playing from the outdoor big screen, come and peruse the vibrant stalls of traders and feast from the street food stalls. Alternatively, head inside to drink festive cocktails and mulled wine and cider – or better yet, book a table to try one of Time Out’s top Sunday roasts with bottomless Yorkshire puddings.

Chef Jamie Duvale will be in the kitchen, serving up his renowned roasts, served with beef fat roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, seasonal veg and red wine gravy (all priced at £22 each!). Bring the whole family with kids’ roasts at £11 including unlimited Yorkshires for the little ones too! Save room for Jamie’s desserts of Croissant dough bread and butter pudding with vanilla custard (£6.50); White chocolate cheesecake, brown butter amaretti biscuit and passionfruit granita (£7) or Affogato (£4.50).
