The steel is up, the concrete is poured, and after two years of construction, The Duce is ready to celebrate the grand opening of The Anchor Rooftop Lounge!
Perched atop a historic 1925 warehouse, The Anchor Lounge is a sizable yet intimate rooftop retreat with unmatched views of downtown Phoenix’s skyline, breathtaking sunsets, and mountain vistas. Designed to be party central for all occasions, this new addition elevates The Duce’s signature blend of vintage charm and vibrant energy.
“We’re a Chicago family, and when we opened The Duce in 2010, we brought a slice of the Windy City with us,” says Steve Rosenstein, who co-founded The Duce with his wife, Andi Rosenstein. “Our main bar was rescued from the iconic Black Orchid Jazz Club circa 1949, and now we’re taking things up a level—literally.”
“When we discovered this 1925 diamond in the rough back in 2007, we learned it was originally home to Anchor Manufacturing Company—so paying homage by taking it to the rooftop feels like the perfect tribute,” adds Andi Rosenstein.
For Executive VP and die-hard Cubs fan Jake Rosenstein, the launch couldn’t be more fitting. “Lincoln and Central is about to feel a whole lot like Clark and Addison. Live music, plenty of Old Style, and delish trailer-made grub will be on tap for all of us boys and girls of summer.”
The Anchor Lounge at The Duce officially opens the weekend of March 28-30—just in time to kick off baseball season with a rooftop celebration like no other!
